Every chimney cap we build is designed to meet current industry codes and standards, and is installed according to proper code methods for each style of chimney cap.
Our caps are built to NFPA 211 codes 4.6.1 – 4.6.3 and are not Spark Arresters.
Our fully operational sheet metal shop specializes in building custom chimney caps, fireplace doors, and related chimney products. We offer numerous finishing options for our caps, including different metals or powder coating to match the color of your choice.
How We Fabricate Our Chimney Caps
A Masters Services technician visits the site to gather information and collect measurements. Once the plan is approved by the customer, the building can begin.
Each of our chimney caps start out as a 24 gauge flat sheet of colored steel, paint grip, cold rolled sheet metal, copper, or stainless steel. Each is then expertly cut using a plasma cutter and bent on a 10′ brake (metal bender).
Masters Services technicians then rivet all the pieces together for a perfect fit to your exact chimney top. Finishing options, including powder coating, can then be applied to get the desired color and look.
